Animal World

Many animals live on the Earth. Some live on land. and some, like fish, live in water. Some insects live in the grass, and many can fly. 


 




Animals live in different places and in different ways











Special body parts

Animals have different body parts to help them live, find food,  and move.

Birds have wings to fly. They have beaks to catch worms and eat grain and seeds.



                                Ducks and frogs have webbed feet to help them swim.
 







 

A giraffe has a long neck. it can eat the leaves of tall trees.



Wild animals

Wild animals live in forests and jungles. Many wild animals eat plants. Some eat other animals.

Scavengers, Such as the hyena, wild dogs, and

vulture, eat dead animals.




 

Domestic animals

Some animals can be tamed. They are called domestic animals. Some live in our houses as pets; others are kept on farms. They help us in many ways.

Many people eat  the flesh of these animals

                                                These animals are birds. They give us eggs.

 



Baby animals

Many animals have babies that look like them. 
Other animals do not look like their parents. Frogs and fish lay eggs in water.
Baby fish are called fry. Baby frogs are called tadpoles. 
They do not look like their parents.
